Seth Freed Wessler is an investigative reporter based in New York, a Puffin Fellow at The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute, and a senior fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism. His work focuses on immigration, criminal justice, health and inequality.
Seth has reported for the New York Times Magazine, The Nation, This American Life, ProPublica, Reveal/Center for Investigative Reporting, and Elle magazine. He has won numerous awards including the Hillman Prize, The John Bartlow Martin Award, and the Izzy Award, among honors.
