    Sylvia A. Harvey (SAH) is an independent journalist and a reporting fellow with The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute. She reports on the intersection of race, gender, class, and criminal justice.

    Her work has appeared in The Nation, the Feminist Wire, Huffington Post, Narratively, the New York Post, AOL’s Bedford-Stuyvesant Patch, where she served as the gentrification columnist, and more. Her commentary on race and the criminal justice system has been featured on WNYC, NPR, WBAI, HuffPost Live, and beyond.
