Join Nation Books author Dr. Ibram X. Kendi at the 28th Annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities (ZORA! Festival), at the St. Lawrence African Methodist Episcopal Church in Eatonville, FL on Friday, January 27th at 10:00am for a panel discussion of communities of color and their policing.

Kendi is the author of Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America, which won the 2016 National Book Award for Non-Fiction. In Stamped from the Beginning, he chronicles the development of anti-Black racist ideas, shedding light on their staggering power over the course of American history. Kendi is currently an assistant professor of African American History at the University of Florida. An intellectual and social movement Africana studies historian, Kendi studies racist and antiracist ideas and movements.
